What today is produced as nuclear waste in german nuclear power plants will be radioactive even in a million years - a secure storage for this long period of time cannot be possible. Therefore, the united population of the Wendland region is struggling for over 30 years against the storage of radioactive waste in front of their homes.

I was part of the project INAMILLIONYEARS where four german photographers (Andreas Herzau, Christian Jungeblodt, Michael Meyborg and Daniel Rosenthal) documented the protests against the transport of nuclear waste during 4 days in autumn 2010. Every day during the transport we released photos and a short film on our website www.inamillionyears.com and on our Youtube-Channel.

I developed the visual concept and produced the daily films and a trailer (below) for the website. Furthermore I animated a short film about the past 30 years of protest.
